Sepand Danesh is obsessed with seeing. How to look away from illusions? How to unlearn the customary appearance of objects? This is what Cézanne did by unifying the touch of the brush, whatever the subject, whatever the distance from it. Always using the same touch, vertical or sometimes diagonal, in order to reach a fundamental state of vision, that of colour confusion due to binocular vision. Two eyes and a brain : more than enough to see the colour dots reunite and merge at a certain distance, producing the mix necessary for the understanding of a three-dimensional space. The information received by the right eye merges with that received by the left eye, sufficiently distant from each other to make us see things differently than they are.
