Nature is beautiful and everyone has their own way of enjoying it. While Singapore-based artist Jacky Mak believes that it is special to admire photos, paintings & other media of nature, it is not quite the same as appreciating it in real life. Even Singapore as the beautiful Garden City which we have all grown to love is a tamer manicured version. In its inherent form, nature is often overpowering.
In The Nature of Things is a non-traditional exhibition where Jacky shows off a large body of work in a more organic fashion. Step into a display studio where Jacky is able to layout his paintings & work upon them. Jacky’s paints and brushes can be laid out for his easy access, really make the space feel like a professional studio where he can work and visitors can get an intimate look at his process and methodology.
