The INCANDESCENT Art Exhibition presented by Little Artists Art Studio showcases Volume III of a IV-Part INCANDESCENT Art Series at Visual Arts Centre from 28th-29th September 2019. Visual Arts Centre is a glass-house Gallery set in the lush expanse of Dhoby Ghaut Green.
Built by the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Singapore in 2016, Visual Arts Centre is at the heart of the Arts & Heritage precinct, a main destination for experiencing the arts and cultural atmosphere of Singapore. With a mission to spearhead and promote arts and cultural activities alongside community engagement in the arts, this is a gallery dedicated to local and international visual arts and design exhibitions. Near to numerous art institutions, museums and schools (School Of The Arts, LASALLE College Of The Arts, Nanyang Academy Of Fine Arts, and the Singapore Art Museum), Visual Arts Centre is placed especially well for emerging artists.
Little Artists is joining that distinguished contemporary history by exhibiting 200 specially selected young emerging artists over two days. Showcasing a multitude of mediums, including paintings, sketches, and sculptures, this will be a vibrant ode to Visual Arts.
Incandescent means – brilliant, bright – a glorious title for rising artists displaying brilliance of expression. Launching these emerging talents at the nexus of cultural and contemporary arts conversations in Singapore as we explore topics ranging from friendship to the future. This series was created to bring a new generation of artist thinkers under 20 into public awareness.
