Infinity showcases the works of Chinese artists Godwin Liu Guoyi and Leo Liu Xuanqi. Nestled in the CBD, Prestige Art Gallery will refresh the space with the energising and dynamic work of the two artists. Through styles likened to pop art and surrealism, this exhibition packs a punch with its dynamism, colour, and arresting visuals, taking viewers on a mesmerising journey through the artists’ inner realms of imagination and fantasy.
Godwin Liu, born In 1974 in Anhui Huainan, is a self-taught artist who currently resides in China, although he sees himself as an artist beyond borders. Through his fantastical and surrealist creations, Liu draws on the fun and energy that likens pop-art aesthetics, while also tackling truths about the human experience using fables and allegories.
The second artist in the exhibition is Leo Liu Xuanqi. Born Chinese who now resides in Singapore. Throughout his life, he has been exposed to a myriad of cultures and can be considered transnational. His exposure to different cultures and graphic design background find expression in his subject matter as well as his bold and vibrant colour palette.
