Aik Beng Chia: Shadows
ION Art Photography Series 2016: “Singapore Streetscapes” features celebrated street photographers – Chia Aik Beng and Mark Teo. The third edition of the series shines the spotlight on Singapore’s urban subculture, from graffiti artists, skaters to portraits of people and movement on the streets. The photographers’ parallel approach to photography juxtaposes each other, unravelling distinct characters in their individual styles and stories told. Encapsulating the instant pulse of a story unfolding in public spaces, the essence of street photography reveals life in definition.
