Australian-Peranakan artist Jennifer Lim will be debuting her first solo show Balik Rumah at LUDO Gallery. Named ‘Let’s Head Home’ in Malay, this exhibition is influenced by Jennifer’s cross-cultural experiences and the notion of home, and features a stunning installation of nearly 600 miniature handmade prints, spelling out the title of the show. Using the highly technical craft of Japanese woodblock combined with screen printing, linocut and painting, Jennifer produces a visual exploration of history and heritage.
