For all the moments that could have been and to all times that merely were, ‘Knowing is better than feeling’ 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐬. Playing out in five installations, Glenn Lim presents a series of broken narratives; each with its own actors.
Taking from his own experiences, the works are the culmination of what Lim calls ‘constructed situations’: abstracted from his personal life to evoke a moment. In a deeply personal, yet biographically devoid exhibition, Knowing is better than feeling brings audiences into an emotive space where one is invited to consider feeling over thought.
