Curated by Kinetic Singapore and hosted by Scotts Square, K+ brings you artists who peddle the extraordinary, things that tickle the imagination, brands that stand out from the bland.
The upcoming exhibition sees K+ presenting the ceramic works of emerging artist Leng Soh. Titled Entanglement, this first solo exhibition by Leng is a soulful exploration of the human condition, centering in particular on the conflicts of the heart.
Entanglement first took seed in a personal dilemma Leng faced. An art director in design and advertising by trade, she was torn between her work and her love for art, a love which she had harboured since young but did not pursue out of practical reasons. In 2012, Leng decided to answer the call of her heart and took up pottery. She was first mentored by Iskandar Jalil before coming under the tutelage of Lim Kim Hui at Ceramic House. To devote more time to her craft beyond just weekends, she also embarked on a four-day work week scheme.
