Lessons from ‘Tell-Tale Signs’

Tell-Tale Signs, a multi-disciplinary project combining storytelling, signed poetry, movement and music to share stories from the Deaf community of their experiences living in a hearing world. Led by artist Rachel Nip, with mentor Ramesh Meyyappan, dramaturgy by Dr Cheng Nien Yuan & Randy Chew, and devised by Ammar Ameezy, Yuki Neoh & Valerie Lim, this project is part of an Inclusive Arts Residency which is supported by ART:DIS and the National Arts Council.

Following two runs of the work-in-progress performance, the creative team will discuss the process of developing performance work for and with Deaf & Hearing artists: bit.ly/TellTaleSigns_RachelNip*

*Seats are limited so do sign-up early. Singapore Sign Language (SgSL) interpretation will be provided at this sharing session.
