The visual arts festival will once again illuminate the Civic District, with visual extravaganzas and new interactive art experiences. The 2022 edition of Light to Night invites audiences to engage with the world anew through art with the theme “New Ways of Seeing, Thinking and Being”.
Highlights of the upcoming festival include an immersive outdoor AR exhibition set against the backdrop of the Civic District by leading AR art production studio, Acute Art, which features a newly commissioned artwork by artist Ho Tzu Nyen – the first Singaporean artist to join Acute Art’s international roster of artists; the crowd-favourite Art Skins on Monuments – light projections on iconic buildings; the return of live music and performances within the Gallery; and immersive art installations and activations in many more new spaces. The expanded line-up of day and night programmes, more festival locations, and its continued phygital format makes this edition of Light to Night Festival the biggest and most exciting yet!
