Why do we yearn to connect with beliefs and causes higher than ourselves? How does this shared experience inspire us to work together and prosper?
Many Beliefs, One Future invites you to find commonalities across different beliefs based on the themes of yearning, challenges and hope in our shared humanity. The exhibition’s community artefacts and artworks capture how individuals of diverse faiths across history and different community ‘scales’ (such as the family, neighbourhood or nation) connect with one another.
It aims to serve as a starting point for thinking about how we can connect with others in the everyday. The exhibition is organised in parallel with the International Conference on Cohesive Societies (ICCS), a platform for conversations on forging stronger interfaith understanding and developing new ideas to foster greater harmony in societies.
Curated by Kathleen Ditzig and Joshua Comaroff of Lekker Architects, the exhibition will run from 19 to 23 June 2019 at the Raffles City Shopping Centre Level 3.
