“Memoirs of City Port Scenes”, organised by Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore, aims to preserve today’s images of our ports before they eventually disappear from our city landscapes. The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore has collaborated with artists from the Singapore Watercolour Society, students from the Pathlight School as well as renowned artist Mr Ong Kim Seng on artworks which are showcased at the exhibition. Our shipyards and lighthouses are not forgotten as they too form an important component of Maritime Singapore. This exhibition features a total of 54 artworks by artists from Singapore Watercolour Society and students from Pathlight School. A special series of lighthouse paintings by Ong Kim Seng is also featured in this exhibition. This exhibition is held at Visual Arts Centre Exhibition Gallery.
