Metamorphosis by Robyn Saurine

Left: Residue; right: Agony, by Robyn Saurine

Change is a constant present in our lives. Whether it surfaces through relocating to new countries, powering through our careers with our growing family in tow or taking a step back to reconnect with oneself, we all react to these experiences differently.

Disquietude by Robyn Saurine

Created at Singapore’s Art Social Haus in 2015, the Metamorphosis collection uses bold colours and texturised surfaces to identify with the emotions we feel when we face a significant life transformation.

Robyn was born in Australia. Her early career was spent in the mining towns of Central Queensland in the 2000s. When she moved to Singapore in 2009, she studied art at NAFA and Lasalle Colleges in Singapore as well as in Italy at Charles H. Cecil Studios in 2014.

Robyn is an awarded member of the Manhattan Arts International community in New York and has exhibited in shows in Singapore, USA and Australia.
