This September, families can look forward to a host of activities organised by PAssion Wave as part of the Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations. Bask in the glow of the full moon at PAssion Wave’s waterfront outlets while carrying the lanterns made at the Upcycling Creative Lantern workshop, which offers a sustainable take on the Mid-Autumn staple. In the workshop, you will get to decorate your lantern with decoupage or pressed flowers for a more personalised touch! Participate in An Introduction in the Way of Tea to learn more about the art of the Chinese tea ceremony and Chinese tea, and pair them with your favourite mooncakes for the complete Mid-Autumn Festival experience.
Create your own mooncake-themed Nagomi artwork at Japanese Pastel Nagomi Art Workshop, a form of Japanese art that focuses on the relaxing process of creating art using pastels and fingers. There is also the Watercolour Painting Workshop where you will learn to handle watercolour and mix different colours to create your own painting.
That’s not all, PAssion Wave @ Jurong Lake Gardens will be offering Mid-Autumn Festival exclusive timeslots for its water sports programmes. These special timeslots will start in the late afternoon and extend into the evening. Experience kayaking, dragon boating or pedal boats in the cooler breeze of the evening as the sun sets and snap photos of you and your family in the scenic waters of Jurong Lake.
