“Missing Part, the Sound of Silence” is an upcoming exhibition that sheds light on our state-of-being in both social and private settings, highlighting resilience as one of the commonalities about our human condition.
A collaboration between artist Helene Le Chatelier and art therapist Calvin Pang, it was inspired by encounters with various communities and artists across Singapore. Voices and words collected anonymously are turned into abstract and poetic objects that seek to honour these individuals whose personal and untold stories convey the idea that we all carry within us the possibility of building joy and lightness no matter what we have been through.
