Modern & Contemporary Art

A significant collection depicting the development of modern and contemporary art in the region will be presented on March 10, 2018 at One East Asia art space, on Scotts Road, Singapore.

Highlights of the collection include exceptional pieces coming from the estate of a Singaporean scholar consisting of magnificent works by Singapore’s Ng Eng Teng and Iskandar Jalil. Extraordinary paintings by Indonesian masters such as Basoeki Abdullah and Lee Man Fong are among the highlights. An exceptionally large Arie Smit and beautiful nudes by J. E. Navarro are expected catch the eyes of the art enthusiasts in the region.
