A significant collection depicting the development of modern and contemporary art in the region by looking through the works of Southeast Asian and Indo-European artists will be presented on August 26, 2017 at One East Asia art space,on Scotts Road, Singapore.
Highlights of the collection include exceptional pieces by one of Indo-European highly sought masters Willem Gerard Hofker, coming from the estate of Sir Thomas Daly, and extraordinary paintings by Indonesian masters such as Affandi, Mochtar Apin and Ahmad Sadali. On the contemporary section, paintings by Singapore’s Sarah Choo and Indonesia’s Roby Dwi Antono are expected to catch the eyes of the new generation of art enthusiasts.
