Butterflies have been traditionally held as a symbolic representation of resurrection, change and renewal. The very existence of a creature so fragile amidst nature’s harsh conditions such as “Monsoons” is, in itself, a reason to believe in the beauty of hope and courage.
The participating artists share their intimate reflections on how the darkest moments can pave the way for the brightest resurgence and the ways in which life, and hope perseveres through the creative process. We are proud to present works by the following artists in this exquisite exhibition : Aki Munar, Renee Avila and Chelsea Theodossis from the Philippines, Yuki Tham from Malaysia, Sam Lo from Singapore and Jane Walker from the United Kingdom.
