Esplanade Theatres on the Bay’s 12th edition of Moonfest – A Mid-Autumn Celebration, the only annual arts festival in Singapore that focuses on preserving traditional Chinese art forms, returns this year with popular Yue Opera productions, folk s ongs from the Loess Plateau, a guzheng recital by Ji Wei, a puppetry performance for the young, hands-on workshops and insightful talks, and more. Running from 9 – 11 September 2016, Moonfest aims to keep traditional Chinese arts alive and pass them on to younger audiences , as families and diverse communities gather to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival.
