‘A New Wake Design Experience’ marks a unique collaboration between NAFA and Ang Chin Moh Funeral Directors. The collaboration on a new wake design experience explores the promise and potential of new funeral typologies, shedding light on how design can respond to changing needs and conditions revolving ritualistic practices in religions.

The Diploma in Design (Interior and Exhibition) Year 2 students from the School of 3D Design embarked on a novel path in spatial design, teaming up with Ang Chin Moh Funeral Directors to conceptualise and create a new wake experience, tailored to the distinctive contexts of multipurpose halls and pavilions at each site.
