Collaborating closely with prominent material supplier Lam Chuan, students from the Year 3 Diploma in Design (Furniture and Spatial) and Diploma in Design (Object and Jewellery) were engaged in an exciting client project. This endeavour involves the exploration of thematic briefs focused on researching the properties of laminates and the careful selection of textures and samples. The process unfolds through experimentation, leading to the development and creation of final prototypes. These prototypes take the form of object, jewellery, or furniture pieces, showcasing the practical application of their research and creative concepts.
