Sourced from limited inventories of archaic household goods stores in Singapore, National Vending Gallery presents topic No. 2 Future Past – a collection of enlightening household artefacts that are sensible yet beautiful. Each piece was honed and shaped ingeniously under mercenary conditions and by balancing the cost-effectiveness of mass manufacture, economic profitability, and user expectations – providing an uncanny perspective to the future of democratic design.
