To be experienced while walking, Nature remixed: Where are the borders of our paradise? make us discover new paths within the Singapore Botanic Gardens while listening to untold stories. Responding to the idea of sound as a way to understand and map places, Sistrum an interdisciplinary collective composed by Ramesh Krishnan, Shu Min Lim and Laura Miotto, recorded within the Gardens inviting people to talk about plants and share a part of themselves though their voices. Conceived as a ‘botanic dub’ this sonic project samples and vehiculate site-specific conversations and atmospheres, while using a polyvocal approach to trace our relationship with nature.
