For four nights in August, The Substation and Ujikaji Records jointly present a wide-ranging survey of Singapore’s independent music landscape. Each night, a contrasting pair of musical acts will perform back-to-back, sparking unexpected cross-currents, conversations and joyous cacophony.
The line-up includes legends such as Leslie Low (of Humpback Oak and The Observatory), up-and-comers like Specific Islander, as well as a unique coming together of experimental musicians Bani Haykal, Dharma, George Chua, Kok Siew Wai and Yandsen Yong. While some names may be unfamiliar to you, each one brings a unique voice to our independent music scene.
