Noriko Ambe: (Un)filtered Reflections

New York-based Japanese artist Noriko Ambe expands her practice of transforming books into distinct book-sculptures. Using textbooks as her core material, her latest project (Un)filtered Reflections reveals creative portraits of students. They highlight the uniquely challenging position of our youth in straddling the increasing demands of today’s technologically advanced world and their severe, rigid education.
