Since the inauguration of the Vanda Miss Joaquim as its national flower in 1981, Singapore has had a long history celebrating the beauty of orchids. In line with the country’s Golden Jubilee celebrations, INDIGO BLUE ART is proud to present Orchidaceae by renowned American glass sculptor Debora Moore.
Moore taps onto her fascination with the wildly diverse and bountiful collection of orchid species in nature – drawing inspiration from her travels and studies of botanical drawings – to present an exploration of these complex and seductive flowers that are frequently found in lush tropical forests of Asia and the Americas.
