Six emerging Singaporean artists will showcase their works at “Pameran Kini”, to be held at Maya Gallery from 20 September till 12 October 2016, featuring varying styles, themes and sources of inspiration but sharing a common link – they have been trained at Singapore’s top arts schools – LaSalle College of the Arts and Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA).
Organised by Maya Gallery, the exhibition, which will display recent works by emerging artists Gazaly Haron, Maisarah Kamal, Masturah Shaari, Midah Arshad, Rick Farid and Zaheera Hashim in various stages of their artistic journeys, is about the different ways in which each artist approach various issues and how they see the world around them.
