From 3 to 11 December 2022, ION Art gallery presents Pameran Poskad 2022, a showcase of over 4,000 post-card sized artworks by 470 artists from all walks of life. Visitors can also view the by-exhibition Small Works, a curation of 50 smaller artworks on the theme “How It Will Be” by new and established artists. The community art exhibition shares the joy of experiencing art as creators, appreciators, and collectors, and seeks to integrate established artists with the wider community and deepen the appreciation of art among the public.
Workshops
On 3 and 6 December 2022 from 4.30pm to 6pm, visitors can participate in a Plasticine Painting Workshop by Cheryl Lam, where they will be given a mess-free opportunity to learn how to mix and match colours to create their own postcard-sized artwork on plasticine. A registration fee of $25 includes materials for the workshop.
Rainbow Artisan will also be conducting Eco-Casting Workshops on 4 December 2022 from 10am to 6pm, with sessions scheduled hourly. Suitable for ages six and above, participants will create their own key-chain charms or phone holders using Jesmonite, with a registration fee of $10 and $25 respectively. More information on the Plasticine Painting Workshop and Eco-Casting Workshop can be found at www.pameranposkad.com/workshops22.
