Did You Know? Nellie – who plays the dog Marvin – was 8 years old at the time of shooting. During production she was diagnosed with cancer and passed away shortly after production wrapped. At the Cannes Film Festival where the film premiered, she was the first dog to receive the Palm Dog award posthumously. This film is dedicated to her memory.
