From August 1 till October 3, OuterEdit together with Orchard Road Business Association (ORBA) will be celebrating Singapore’s 50th birthday through the Pioneer Portraits initiative – a compelling showcase of Singaporean history, triumphs and challenges through the eyes of her modern creative community, right in the heart of Orchard Road.

Featuring Orchard Road’s first-ever outdoor showcase that adapts the existing glass panels along Singapore’s premier shopping boulevard, this 32 glass panel showcase, stretched between ION Orchard and Mandarin Gallery aims to instil national awareness, pride, identity and belonging through engagement, involvement, appreciation & discourse. It features stunning pieces of bespoke art by local talents from diverse creative disciplines and background.
