Liana Yang is drawn to the trivialities and oddities that we encounter in our daily experiences. By combining photography, video, sound and found objects, her methodologies usually involve subversions with sexual references and objectification. Her more recent interests explore the realms of contemporary romance and social economies.
Her works have been showcased both locally and internationally. More recently, she completed a three-month creative exchange program with Transcultural Collaboration 2017 in Zurich, Switzerland and Hong Kong, which focused on multi-disciplinary collaborations amongst its participants.
