“Rainbow Families: Dear Home” explores what home really means to LGBTQ+ people in Singapore. The exhibition space transforms a corridor within venue sponsor Projector X: Picturehouse (The Cathay) into a walk-through home setup, with various rooms in the “home” being represented along the corridor. Each room reflects a different aspect of the definition of being home and belonging, and the exhibition as a whole aims to start difficult conversations about parental acceptance of LGBTQ+ persons in Singapore.
