Artist, critic, director and founder of the international arts organisation TransCultural Exchange, Mary Sherman will introduce TransCultural Exchange’s international conferences which were originally created to help American artists and arts organisations become aware of the networks of international residencies that exist around the globe. The benefits of statistical information gathered by TransCultural Exchange has successfully advocated for the vital and important creative role that Artists-in-Residence play in today’s increasingly interconnected and results-driven world.
