Salutogenesis is Kayleigh Goh’s third solo exhibition with Gajah Gallery. Goh’s works are well-known for her architectural compositions of wood and cement. Her latest series introduces a new level of comfort, using warm tones, glossy textures, and an expanded yet subtle colour palette, exploring the connections between art, healing, and the human experience.

Inspired by the concept of salutogenesis (which focuses on wellness and one’s well-being), this exhibition delves into the therapeutic potential of art and its ability to fulfil our emotional and spiritual requirements. Goh’s show ultimately probes the question: what healing properties do these painterly spaces have?
