Sambal goreng is a favourite Malay dish served during Hari Raya, made up of various ingredients like assorted meat, prawn, tauhu (tofu or beancurd) and tempe (soy bean cake).
Named Sambal Goreng, this exhibition presents a strong and diverse selection of artworks by prominent Singaporean artists including Sarkasi Said, Iskandar Jalil and Idris Ali, alongside other local talents.
It aims to capture the spirit of Hari Raya and share the rich Malay heritage, thus encouraging cross-cultural and inter-faith understanding.
