Trace the footsteps of King Rajasuran and his descendant, Sang Nila Utama, with the Asian Contemporary Ensemble. This multi-disciplinary arts experience features compositions by local musicians Phoon Yew Tien, Bernard Tan, John Sharpley, Jonathan Shin, Christopher Clarke, Joyce Poh and Anne Choo, alongside storytelling by Rosemarie Somaiah, dance choreography by Paragraph and animation by Chua Wei Xun.
Sayang Singapura is part of the SG50 celebrations. The Ensemble hopes that the audience will gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of Singapore’s history via music and visual art in motion.
