So Young Kim (b.1991 in Seoul, South Korea) is an artist based in Singapore, South Korea, and the UK. She holds a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from Loughborough University, UK (2013), and an MA in Painting from the Royal College of Art. (2022)
Kim has exhibited her work extensively since 2011 and it has been collected internationally across Europe, Asia, and the US.
With the onset of the 2020 pandemic, many changes have taken place in the way Kim works. If the use of material objects was the basis of her previous works, the basis of her work now is digital objects.
