Sense and Sensibility is White Space Art Asia’s second solo show with Indonesian artist Mutiara Riswari. In her second iteration with White Space, Riswari’s works grace our shores with a spectacle of colour, accompanied with deeper, intense hues and an equally evocative universe. In ‘Sense and Sensibility’, Riswari chases the divide between rational judgement and emotions, and what emerges on canvas is the age old battle between reasons and desire. A master over an infinite lexicon of colours, Riswari’s polychromatic world speaks of an artist well-versed in the emotions of colour and the stories within.
