This exhibition of approximately 50 works by Singapore’s second-generation artists features local Singaporean painters: Cai Yixi, Chen Chuzhi, Hong Yadi, Bai Rongsheng, Wang Chunxin, Tong Zhenshi, Zheng Wenbin, Lin Ziying, Deng Erchang. Most of the works are from the early members of the Singapore Equator Art Research Society. They became full-time painters in the 1970s and 1980s.

In this exhibition, the youngest living artist is now 81 years old. Their artistic spirit is touching. Several of them are winners of the highest “Cultural Art Award” awarded by the Singaporean state. This exhibition displays works from the 1970s and 1980s to the present.
