The DesignSingapore Council (Dsg) is looking for a partner to develop and produce a publication which not only serves as a guide for the Singapore Design Week (SDW), but also one which provides interesting and compelling content in telling Singapore’s design stories.
Every past edition of SDW has been accompanied by a festival guide. Needless to say, we all understand the role of a guide – a conventional directory of programme listings of the festival. We are also aware of the usual fate of such guides after the festival – they are either left behind or discarded.
The new edition of the guide seeks to ensure life beyond the festival. This could be achieved by having a depository of Singapore design stories which readers can keep as coffee table books or by featuring designers or leading businesses who are ambassadors of design. We are also open to any other exciting and feasible ideas from our partner.
