From 5 November 2020 to 30 January 2021, SIPF 2020 welcomes visitors to explore various exhibitions located around Singapore. Experience this year’s festival theme of Departing and Arriving through the myriad of artworks by renowned and budding international and local artists, illustrating the exploration of modern human movements and perceptions against current societal constraints. Set amidst the global pandemic, the theme takes on a heightened meaning as it emphasises on the eventual arrival of understanding identity and belonging through a journey of departure.

The festival’s unique programme is split between physical exhibitions and virtual discussion sessions, offering participants of all ages and skill levels an opportunity to immerse in art during such tough times. Key programmes include the Opencall Showcase, Asia Meet, Masterclass sessions, and Walking with Photographers in addition to the exhibitions displayed at 37 Emerald Hill, ArtScience Museum and DECK.
