Global warming can no longer be ignored. Ren Zi’s solo exhibition takes us to an imagined future in the year 2078, in an alternate, apocalyptic timeline where Singapore had drowned due to the melting of the polar ice caps in the Arctic. There the artist witnessed the remnants of a ritual left behind by the last Singaporean survivor on a quest for absolution. The exhibition investigates the myths we create and their consequences. Drop by the gallery to learn more about the exhibition, where our artologist will be happy to converse with you.
