Through the medium of printmaking Richard Kearns investigates implicit hierarchies that are built between corporal events and the method in which they are documented. Questioning the very concept of “a print” and exploring and expanding the definition to include prints as gateways to virtual spaces and participatory processes his work explores the assumptions we make about the spaces we inhabit and the narrative we build around those assumptions.
