Soma folk is inspired by the ancient folk way of living, where creating is a gift gathered through the source of nature and transformed by hand. Formed during the late autumn of 2018 during a road trip in Japan where two individuals came together and discovered their common interest in the old folk crafts. They will be exhibiting their personal works of natural fibers dyed with indigo and kaki shibu, as well as various woodworks built by hand with traditional joinery.
