On Spiritual Odyssey: Solo Works by Anthony Chua Say Hua, the artist says, “These are works executed in recent years that I am happy with. These paintings reflect my artistic inroads – the great Tang Dynasty poet Du Fu’s poem titled A Grand Tour best encapsulates my sentiments. In 2017, I toured Myanmar and Tibet and gained immensurable inspiration from these destinations. Tibet, especially, proved to be a pilgrimage for my soul. To the extent where Art and Life are intertwined, all of my accumulated experiences in life have helped to shape my artistic identity.”
