In celebration of Singapore’s multicultural heritage, the critically acclaimed The TENG Ensemble will bring their distinct blend of Chinese and Western sounds to their first major concert Stories from an Island City, taking place on 12 August at the Esplanade Concert Hall. Directed by one of Singapore’s foremost theatre and film directors Glen Goei, the concert will bring to life ten Singaporean stories through a multidisciplinary showcase of music, dance and film. They will launch their second album, also titled Stories from an Island City, at the concert.
