The annual Ngee Ann National Teochew Artists’ Exhibition returns for its 23rd edition this year. Teochew artists of all ages gather as they celebrate their shared heritage while showcasing their artistic talents.
Each year, the Ngee Ann Cultural Centre awards two artists for their impressive works and contribution to the local art scene – the prestigious Ngee Ann Artist of the Year honours an established artist, whereas the Young Promising Artist award which was established in 2020, is given to an emerging artist to encourage and inspire the younger generation.
