The Makers’ Market is part of an ongoing series of exhibitions to showcase innovative and new works from NAFA’s alumni and emerging talents. The exhibition explores the act of making, specifically that of handcrafted works. It addresses how we solve functional challenges as well as how we express ideas. The act of making is powerful as a creative process that fulfils human needs and desires, evident in simple day to day actions such as cooking, decorating and styling. This exhibition features unique 3-dimensional works from graduates and students from the 3D Design and Fine Art Programmes. 13 artists and designers explore the possibilities of the 3-dimensional form, from sculptural artwork to functional tableware, wearable objects and lighting.
