The Nanyang Show 2016

For four days only, there will be a showcase of 47 museum quality artworks representing the Nanyang Style dated since the 1930s by pioneer artists such as Yong Mun Sen, Chen Wen Hsi, Chia Yu Chian, Lee Cheng Yong, Kuo Ju Ping, Tan Choon Ghee, Khoo Sui Hoe, Ong Kim Seng, Tsai Horng Chung and more.

Titled The Nanyang Show, the collection will be displayed at the Visual Arts Centre – a contemporary glass-house gallery space located in the lush green development of Dhoby Ghaut Green – from 9 to 12 June, 10am to 10pm daily.

The Nanyang Show will allow art enthusiasts to immerse themselves in picturesque landscapes of the Southern Seas through an eclectic array of selected paintings, many of which are making their public appearance for the first time. For private or corporate collectors, this special selling exhibition offers an opportune moment to acquire exceptional pieces that carry significant historical narratives and cultural values.
