The Open Workshop references the traditions of process art, where processes in art-making are not hidden but a prominent aspect of the completed work. This will take the form of an exhibition, each work accompanied by a workshop headed by the artist. This format addresses the gap between art and technology where audiences often fail to see the conceptual relevance between art and technology
and the social implications surrounding it.
Set against the growing trend of using technology in the arts, the exhibition aims to demystify the role of technology in artmaking, providing a lens to reveal the inner workings of this
exhibition. Featuring works by Cao Zhiyi, Bani Haykal, Joo Choon Lin, Teow Yue Han, and Denise Yap.
